The Grove Road Cemetery Lodge was designed by Thomas Charles Sorby in 1863. It was intended for accommodation of the cemetery keeper, or person in charge of the gravedigging and gardening team, who was also responsible for opening the gates, etc. The lodge was sold by Harrogate Council, and is now in private ownership, under the name of Cemetery Lodge.
