Greco guitars (Japanese: グレコ, pronounces Gurekou ), a sister brand of Goya guitars, was originally a guitar brand owned by Hershman Musical Instrument Company in New York (later Goya Music). In the 1960s, Goya Music had imported the acoustic guitars manufactured in West Germany and Yugoslavia, and distributed under this brand. The labels of these guitars would said, "Designed, serviced and adjusted by Goya Guitars, Inc".[1]

In the late-1960s, Kanda Shokai (Japanese: 神田商会, where Shokai means trading company) produced electric guitars under this brand. Kanda Shokai is a musical instrument wholesaler mostly known for being a part of Fender Japan.
