Gianni Borgna (born 1947 in Rome; died 2014 in Rome) was an Italian music critic, essayist, professor and politician. He served in the Regional Council of Lazio from 1975 to 1985 as member of the Council, then as Assessor to Culture from 1993 to 2006 for the Municipality of Rome. He also taught history of modern music at LUISS in Rome. He is the author of several essays on modern Italian music.
