Gedenknaald koning Willem II. The original monument was erected in 1874 and was designed by architect Hendrik J. van Tulder (1819-1903). In 1968 it was removed for sake of the new city-ring road. The monument was in such a bad shape that Ton Buijnsters made a new one, which was placed in 1987 at its current place. The medaillon was part of the old monument and made by Joseph Geefs.
