The Gauri Shankar temple of Nagar in Himachal Pradesh is a 9th to 10th century Shaiva–Shakti tradition temple. Built from stone, it has a square plan and Nagara architecture. The temple has a Nandi, a mandapa, a Shiva-linga inside the sanctum, and a bhadramukha where sukhanasi is found in central and south Indian temples.

The Gaurishankar temple has two rows of Hindu artwork on the outer walls. It has a beautiful sculpture of four armed Shiva with Parvati, both seated on Nandi.
