Gateway Center was the last station on the subway in downtown Pittsburgh until 2009. It had only one platform: all cars came in from the east, passed the station and went around a loop, and approached the platform from the west. Gateway Center was replaced by the current Gateway station, but the underground portion of Gateway Center is still visible as a ghost station.
