English: The aircraft is a faithful replica of Chipmunk 169, as delivered by de Havilland to the Irish Air Corps in 1952. The Chipmunk, painted as an Air Corps example with the registration 169, is actually a former Royal Air Force machine, registration WD305, current civilian registration G-ARGG. Warbird experts Vintage Fabrics at Audley End in the UK were commissioned to carry out the refurbishment and paintwork.
