English: Furukawa Masao (古川 正雄, April 8, 1837 – April 2, 1877), whose old name was Furukawa Setsuzō (古川 節蔵), Okamoto Setsuzō (岡本 節蔵), or Okamoto Shūkichi (岡本 周吉), was a Japanese educator during the early Meiji era and a direct retainer of the Shogun.
