English: New York, New York. The War Emergency Board of the fur industry formed a fur vest project. Various fur factories donate the services of their employees one day a week to make fur-lined vests for the merchant marines. The fur is all from voluntary donations from the public.
- For a similar German action on a state basis see: Category:Sammlung von Woll-, Pelz- und Wintersachen für die Front (Collection of wool, fur and winter clothes for the front.).
