English: Block VIII from the west side of the frieze of the Parthenon, exhibited in the Acropolis Museum (inv. no 20022) in Athens Greece. It depicts a man struggling to control his rearing horse. He has been identified as a Thracian ally or even the Athenian king Theseus. His head is a modern plaster cast.
