English: The barque Frieda Mahn was built 1891 by Neptun Werft A. G., Rostock (yard no. 129) for Helmuth Menz, Rostock. Her dimensions were 69.6 x 11.1 x 6.19 m and 1396 GRT. She was seized in August 1914 by French forces in the western Channel and assigned to Cie. Française de Marine et de Commerce, Cherbourg. New owner was the Société Générale De Transports Maritimes À Vapeur S. A., Marseille. The ship was renamed Bon Premier. The Bon Premier sunk by gunnery by U-60, about 200 miles SW of Ushant in 29 Sep 1917. She was on a voyage from Fort de France to Bordeau with rum.^[1][2]
