Freedom of Worship was published in the February 27, 1943, issue of The Saturday Evening Post accompanied by an essay by Will Durant, as the second in the magazine's "Four Freedoms" series. The painting also appears on a 1943 poster produced by the U.S. Government Printing Office for the Office of War Information.
