English: HI&RAM Emperor Franz Joseph I (*August 18, 1830 in Schloss Schönbrunn – †November 21, 1916 in Schönbrunn) was Emperor of Austria, Apostolic King of Hungary, King of Bohemia, etc. His parents were Archduke Franz Karl of Austria and Princess Sophie of Bavaria He was married to Empress Elisabeth of Austria. They had issue: Archduchess Sophie of Austria (*1855–†1857), Archduchess Gisela of Austria (*1856–†1932), Rudolf, Crown Prince of Austria (*1858–†1889) and Archduchess Marie Valerie of Austria (*1868–†1924).
Magyar: I. Ferenc József, osztrák főherceg, 1848-tól haláláig osztrák császár, 1867-től Magyarország megkoronázott apostoli királya.
