English: Frank Nightingale (died circa 1940) was a jeweller and photographer, known for publishing around 1,000 postcards depicting places in and around north Birmingham, England, in the period 1906-1912. He lived and worked in Smethwick (his address at one point was Durban Road).
Most of his postcards were made as contact prints from glass-plate negatives, and many have faded significantly due to improper fixing, making the remainder rare. A few cards were professionally printed,
