Built in 1904, this Mission Revival-style residence at 7 East Gilman Street in Madison, Wisconsin, was constructed for Flora Keenan (see the Property Record online) and is now utilized as an apartment building.
The building is clad in stucco with a hipped roof featuring exposed rafter tails, Spanish gable parapets at the wall dormers, Palladian attic windows, a front porch with a Spanish gable parapet, a front door with sidelights, an oriel window on the second floor above the front door, small iron balconies at doors in the outer bays of the second floor of the front facade, a red brick chimney, and a rear ell with a shed roof clad in clapboard.
The Flora Keenan Residence is a contributing structure in the Mansion Hill Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
