English: First Chicago Bank, formerly known as First National Bank of Chicago or First Chicago NBD: former bank based in Chicago, Illinois, begun in 1863 and merged into Bank One in 1998–1999. The First National Bank of Chicago had four main locations over time: the southwest corner of Clark and Lake streets (1863–1868); the corner of State and Washington streets (1868–1882), which was 4 stories then extended to 5 stories; 38 South Dearborn Street at the northwest corner with Monroe Street (6 stories and a basement 1882–1900, about 15 stories 1903–1970); and 10 Dearborn Street, which is 56 stories (opened 1969 as First National Plaza, now Chase Tower).
