English: Two limekilns were built adjacent to the Firepool Lock in Taunton in the early 1840s. A hot air engine house was built on top of these circa 1866 and a water tank in 1877. It was rebuilt in 1889 as a pumping station for the Bristol and Exeter Railway. It is Grade II listed (list entry 1372427).
