Illustrations from [1]:
- The earliest English version of the fables of Bidpai: The morall philosophie of Doni, by Sir Thomas North. Edited and induced by Joseph Jacobs (1888).
Nine out of the 10 illustrations are from North's 1570 publication, the one on page lxiii is from "the editio princeps of the Latin version by John of Capua", and the frontispiece (downloaded from Google Books) from an Indian painting in a Persian manuscript.
Note that Google Books has (less yellow, less resolution) versions of all the other images too.
