English: Description CWGC : Nes, one of the villages controlled by the commune called Westdongeradeel, is on the North Friesland coast, 45 kilometres north-north-east of Leeuwarden and 17 kilometres north-east of Holwerd.
The churchyard surrounds the church in the centre of the village. Near the entrance are the graves of an airman from the United Kingdom and a totally unidentified casualty.
