Italiano: Nacque a Vasto nel 1847 da Stanislao e Rosa Codagnone. Tra Vasto e Napoli dove si trasferirà curò la pubblicazione dell' "indicatore generale del commercio e dell'industria" un grosso volume di circa ottocento pagine di caratteri minutissimi contenente gli indirizzi dei commercianti e degli industriali esistenti in tutti i Comuni del Regno. Il libro venne ripubblicato e aggiornato ogni anno per decenni. Gradatamente con la stessa tipografia iniziò una attività editoriale che assumerà il nome di it:Casa Editrice E. Pietrocola. Mori nel 1899 lasciando una casa editrice che sopravviverà fino al 1943.
English: He was born in Vasto in 1847 by Stanislao and Rosa Codagnone. Between Vasto and Naples, where he moved, he edited the publication of the "general indicator of trade and industry" a large volume of about eight hundred pages of very small characters containing the addresses of traders and industrialists existing in all the municipalities of the Kingdom. The book was republished and updated every year for decades. Gradually with the same typography began an editorial activity that will take the name of Publishing House E. Pietrocola. He died in 1899, leaving a publishing house that would survive until 1943.
