English: The Eisenbeis Building (Olympic Hardware Building), 1003-1009 Water Street, Port Townsend, Washington, USA has a complicated history, well documented at http://ptmainstreet.org/page3/files/buildingplaquesbooklet.pdf. The ground floor dates from 1873, Port Townsend's first stone building, and originally contained shops. Two brick stories were added in 1889; in 1903 it became a hotel. Over time it housed restaurants, saloons, a theater, a cinema and from 1916 into at least the late 20th century, Olympic Hardware. The old bay windows were removed in a 1956 remodel; new ones were added in 2007. The upper floors are now condominium apartments.
