"Edmund (Nice) Baccani Originally from the Philippines where he learned luthiery, he started out in Hawaii as the luthier behind the D&D brand, (D&D stands for Daniel and Doris who ran a Ukulele shop in Lahaina, Maui). This apparently started in 1995 and they appear to have stopped production in 2009? I believe Edmund then went on to make Ukuleles just branded with his own nickname. I have seen some similar looking Ukuleles dating from 2009 but branded as Nice Ukuleles "
