English: The Eastern Khalwa (Khalwat ash-Sharqiyya) is the only khalwa on the eastern edge of the Dome of the Rock terrace.
It was al-Aḥmadiyya Madrasa, aka the Aḥmad Pasha Madrasa (مدرسة أحمد پاشا), named after Aḥmad Pasha.[1]
