English: Dipendra Bir Bikram Shah (Nepali: दीपेन्द्र वीर विक्रम शाह) (27 June 1971 – 4 June 2001) was the King of Nepal who ascended the throne for three days and reigned from 1 to 4 June 2001. For the duration of his three day reign he was in a coma, having shot himself in the head after a killing rampage he directed against his extended family. Dipendra was the penultimate King of Nepal.
