English: "Diogenes", by Jacopo Caraglio, c. 1525. From a design by Parmigianino. The original drawing by Parmigianino does not survive but he appears to have deliberately created this design for a print. Two versions were made around the same time—this engraving by Jacopo Caraglio and a woodcut by Ugo da Carpi. It is not known which of the two versions was produced first.
