English: Dale of Norway is a Norwegian company that manufactures clothing, predominantly wool sweaters and outdoor jackets. They are well known for their Lusekofte sweaters. The company is currently headquartered in the small village of Dale in Hordaland county, Norway. The company also has a subsidiary in Shelburne, Vermont in the United States. The company has also been an official supplier of sweaters for the Norwegian ski team and the Winter Olympics since 1956.
Norsk bokmål: Dale of Norway er en tekstilbedrift i Dale i Vaksdal kommune i Hordaland. Den ble etablert av Peter Jebsen som Dale Fabrikker i 1879, og produserte trikotasje, strikkede klær. Selskapet ble kjent etter Vinter-OL 1956 etter kontrakten for den offisielle OL-genseren «Cortina», designet av Bitten Eriksen. Siden den gang har selskapet gjennom Norges Skiforbund sponset norske skiutøvere, og har i hele denne perioden designet VM- og OL-genserne. Dale of Norway har etablert eget datterselskap i Burlington i Vermont i USA.
