English: The category Cultural property protected by the Hague Convention in Austria collects images of buildings protected by the Hague Convention (Austrian law since 2000) and located in Austria (see Liste der nach der Haager Konvention geschützten Kulturgüter in Österreich, German). This definition of monuments according the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict is different form that for monuments defined by the Austrian Bundesdenkmalamt, which are collected in category Cultural heritage monuments in Austria. Neither set is a subset of the other one.
Some of the objects protected are ensembles roughly defined by shapes on satellite images. Individual objects being inside those ensembles (could be quite many) will not be categorized here. There also is no urgent need to create categories for those ensembles.
Deutsch: Die Kategory Cultural property protected by the Hague Convention in Austria sammelt Bilder von Gebäuden, die nach der Haager Konvention (Gesetzesstand 2000) geschützt sind und sich in Österreich befinden (siehe auch Liste der nach der Haager Konvention geschützten Kulturgüter in Österreich). Die Definition der Objekte gemäß der Haager Konvention zum Schutz von Kulturgut bei bewaffneten Konflikten unterscheidet sich von den Objekten gemäß der Denkmallisten des österreichischen Bundesdenkmalamts, die in die Kategorie Cultural heritage monuments in Austria eingeordnet werden. Trotz großer überlappender Bereiche, gibt es viele Denkmäler, die nur in einer der beiden Listen enthalten sind.
Einige der geschützten Objekte sind Ensembles, die nur grob als Shape auf Satellitenbildern definiert sind. Individuelle Objekte innerhalb dieser geschützten Ensembles (können ganz schön viele sein) werden hier nicht kategorisiert. Es gibt auch keine Notwendigkeit, jetzt für diese Ensembles eigene Kategorien zu erzeugen.
