English: The steam powered dumb ladder dredger Colne Dredger was built at Rowhedge in 1950, used to dredge the Colne constantly, but with the port closing, and shipbuilding at Rowhedge and Wivenhoe having ceased, she was retired in 1990. The engine has been removed.
