English: Citygate is an office/residential complex in the west of Newcastle upon Tyne, near the football stadium St James' Park. It runs along the east side of St James' Boulevard, with the north end fronting onto Gallowgate, and the southern end on Bath Lane. It's western side is bounded by a ditch and green space which is on the outside of a surviving section of the city's ancient walls. While the complex appears homogeneous from most aspects, it actually consists of 4 discrete blocks:

It was built on land previously occupied by the Gallowgate Coach Station. Services which previously used that facility were transferred to a new purpose built coach station further south along the boulevard.
