The Cherry Lane Theatre at 38 Commerce Street between Barrow and Bedford Streets in the West Village neighborhood of Greenwich Village in Manhattan, New York City was built in 1817 as a farm silo, and was converted into a theatre in 1924. It is the oldest continuously running off-Broadway theater and contains a 179-seat main stage and a 60-seat studio space.
