Gate of the chancel enclosure in the Chartres cathedral
Wrought iron gate with gilded bronze elements, from the former monumental sanctuary fence that replaced the 13th century rood screen in 1769. Made by the ironworker Joseph Pérez and the bronzier Louis Prieur.
