This is a space one comes across in the south, before reaching the actual Church of St. Stephen, but under the same protective roof. It's name is, as a site explains "just an archaeological reference and not historical identification. Below the Chapel of the Column have been excavated archaeological evidences of the 7th-6th cent. B.C. (Iron II period), like a basalt column base, a scarab and a group of pottery sherds."
