The Century Theater Domes were built in 1964, and closed to the public in March 2014. The address for the Century 21 (1964) was 3161 Olsen Drive, San Jose; the Century 22 (1966) complex of domes was located at 3162 Olin Ave, San Jose; and the Century 23 (1968) split dome is located at 3164 Olsen Drive, San Jose. The Century 21 in San Jose was built as a show palace for Cinerama; and an effort has been made to preserve the domes as examples of mid-century modern architecture.
