One of two tarock patterns still produced in Germany for the game of Cego in the Black Forest. This pattern was made by F.X. Schmid and was discontinued, but is now available from various sources including fahnen-staeb.de and the Fürstenberg Brewery. Genre scenes on the trumps are by Adrian Ludwig Richter. It is thought to date to the 1860s or 1870s.
The cards are also used for the Baden game of Dreierles, a derivative of Tapp Tarock and other local games in the Baden region.
