English: Capotains, capatains or copotains are tall-crowned, narrow-brimmed, slightly conical "sugarloaf" hats, usually black, worn by men and women from the late 16th into the early or mid- 17th centuries (c. 1560-1620/1650) in England and northwestern Europe.
