English: Caersws (pronounced 'kai-er-suus') is a village and community sitting on the River Severn, at some four miles west of Newtown, (formerly the county of Montgomeryshire).

Nederlands: Caersws is een klein dorpje in Midden- Wales gelegen aan de oevers van de rivier de Severn. Het heeft een eigen treinstation op de Cambrian Line die loopt vanaf Aberystwyth tot aan Shrewsbury.
