English: Charles Wesley Mathers (1868-1950) was one of the earliest professional photographers in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and is known for his photographs related to the Klondike Gold Rush as well as of his own journey with Hudson's Bay Company traders along the river routes in Canada's Northwest Territories. Born to Irish immigrants in Lucknow, Ontario, Mathers retired to Gardena, California.
