Closeup photos of the Butte Fault. It is expressed as a white rock ridge at the west base of prominences from Nankoweap Mesa, south to the area north of a Chuar Butte. North of Chuar a dp chocolate layered section is uplifted at a ~40 degeee angle (the crest of Awatubi?). The expressed Rocks are part of the Kwagunt Formation (Carbon Butte, Awatubi, and Walcott members).
