Burton's Gentleman's Magazine and American Monthly Review (1837–1840) was a magazine published in Philadelphia, founded by William Evans Burton. Edgar Allan Poe was an editor and contributor in 1839–40. In 1940 the magazine was purchased by George Rex Graham and merged with Casket to form Graham's Magazine, which began with the December 1840 issue.
