English: The Bulwark class were begun as wooden line-of-battle warships and were Britain's last. Royal Alfred, Zealous and Repulse were eventually completed as central battery ironclads. Royal Oak, Prince Consort, Ocean, and Caledonia were eventually completed as Prince Consort class broadside ironclads.
