The Broadwater Hotel and Natatorium complex was built in 1888-1889 close to the town of Helena, Montana, USA. Charles A. Broadwater intended it as a hot springs, countryside retreat for millionaires and so, no expenses were spared. The natatorium was, at its time, the largest indoor swimming pool in the world. After several hardships the hotel was permanently closed in 1941. In 1974 the furnishings were auctioned off and what was left of the decaying hotel was demolished.
