English: D6990 entered service with British Rail in June 1965. It was renumbered 37290 in March 1974 then rebuilt and renumbered 37411 in October 1985. It carried four different names. The Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (May 1987 to October 1990); Ty Hafan (May 1997 to March 2001); The Scottish Railway Preservation Society ( May 2001 to October 2005); and Casttel Caerphilli - Caerphilly Castle (November 2005 to November 2010).
