English: D6967 entered service with British Rail in February 1965. It was renumbered 37267 inMay 1974 then rebuilt and renumbered 37421 in December 1985. It carried the name Strombidae from March 1981 to March 1993 when it was renamed Star of the East until April 1993. In November 1993 it received the name The Kingsman which it carried until August 1997.
