English: D6802 entered service with British Rail in January 1963. It was renumbered 37102 in February 1974 then rebuilt and renumbered 37712 in August 1988. It was named The Cardiff Rod Mill from November 1988 until July 1992 and then Teeside Steelmaster from September 1992.
