The British Airways ethnic liveries (also known as the Utopia scheme) combined a revised Speedbird logo with new and varied tail art inspired by the destinations of the airline. The new livery was rolled out starting in 1997 but paused in 1999; in 2001, British Airways announced that all tail art would be repainted to the Utopia scheme Chatham Dockyard Union flag. Guide:
