The former Brethren Meeting Room on Lower Church Road in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, England, now the Burgess Hill Community Mosque, was built in 1905 for Exclusive Brethren, replacing premises built on Mill Road in the 1870s. It was superseded in 1983 by the Fairfield Road Meeting Room and became a British Red Cross office, and in 2017 it was acquired by the local Sunni Muslim community and converted into a mosque. For a comprehensive history of this and other places of worship in Burgess Hill, see the article "An Architectural and Historical Tour of Burgess Hill's Places of Worship" in issue 78 (September 2021) of The Chapels Society's Newsletter (ISSN 1357-3276).
