English: Breastcollar is a padded strap running around the front of a horse's chest from side to side, in order to pull a load. Used for light harness work. Usually attached to a swingletree or whippletree to allow each shoulder to pull evenly with each step of the horse without rubbing its shoulders. See also Category:Horse collars. For the version of breastcollar used with a riding saddle, see Category:Horse breastplate.
