English: Bonnington Pavilion, a ruined summer house near New Lanark, Scotland. The earliest surviving viewing house in Scotland. It was built in 1708 for James Carmichael, and was ment to 'frame' the Corra Linn waterfall view. On the ceiling were mirrors that were casting the reflection of the waterfall.
