English: A Ming-era bixi turtle with a blank stele near the temple of Yu the Great, part of the "Qingchuan Pavilion" complex in Wuhan. This is one of the very few bixi in Wuhan that I am aware of. (There are also some in Baotong Temple, and in Longquanshan; and there is also a turtle-snake-and-crane statue near the Yellow Crane Tower.)
According to the information posted on site, it is installed there to commemorate the help the bixi rendered to Yu the Great during his flood control effort and his work in civilizing the people.
