Bishop of Meath is an episcopal title in Ireland which takes its name after the ancient Kingdom of Meath that was located in the middle of Ireland. Following the Reformation, there were parallel successions to the title in the Roman Catholic Church and the newly established Protestant church – the Church of Ireland. The title was suppressed in the Church of Ireland but still remains in the Catholic church.
